The late afternoon sun caught on the ripples on this wintry day in January. The elegant swans foraged for food, gliding majestically across the dark waters on the lake at Castle Howard. The folly can be seen on the horizon. I wanted to capture the patterns formed by the ripples reflecting the colours of the sky and reflecting onto the white swans.
